Launch of South Asian Network TV

That the Parliament congratulates the team behind the launch of South Asian Network TV (SAN TV), the UK’s first dedicated public service channel celebrating and representing South Asian communities; recognises the channel’s commitment to inclusion, representation and empowerment, and its focus on arts, education, business and wellbeing; commends the leadership of director and editor Ranjith Sankaranarayanan, broadcasting director Mian Tariq, and technical director Sooraj Alanal for their hard work and dedication in bringing this community-driven platform to life, and wishes for the success of SAN TV in bringing South Asian culture to Scotland’s screens.
