That the Parliament congratulates Adarsh Khullar on her award from The King, who has been graciously pleased, on the occasion of the Celebration of His Majesty’s Birthday, to approve the award of the British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to the Scottish Asian Ekta Group; understands that, as founder and chair of the group, she has dedicated 25 years of her life to ensuring that ladies from ethnic minority backgrounds are not left behind; appreciates her efforts to alleviate loneliness, arrange yoga classes, workshops centred around mental wellbeing, and arrange daytrips in order to improve the lives of members, and wishes her every success in her future endeavours.
