That the Parliament notes that 20 June 2025 marks World Refugee Day, an occasion designated by the United Nations to raise awareness of the challenges faced by refugees worldwide and to honour what it sees as their strength and resilience; acknowledges the ongoing global refugee crisis and the displacement of millions of people due to conflict, persecution, and natural disasters; recognises what it sees as the contributions made by refugees in communities across the world, including in Scotland, and reaffirms the commitment to supporting the rights and dignity of refugees, providing them with protection, and fostering inclusive societies.
