King’s Oak Primary School Achieves the UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting School Award

That the Parliament congratulates King’s Oak Primary School in Greenock on achieving the UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting School Award; recognises the outstanding dedication of pupils, staff, and the wider school community in embedding the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) into their daily ethos and learning; commends the school for fostering a deep understanding of children’s rights, critical thinking, and global citizenship; understands that assessors gave positive feedback regarding the school’s commitment to children’s rights, and wishes King’s Oak Primary School continued success in empowering its pupils to advocate for rights and equality for all.
