Picnic in the Park at Bridge of Allan

That the Parliament welcomes the news that the community group Friends of Bridge of Allan is hosting the annual Picnic in the Park event in Pullar Memorial Park in Bridge of Allan on 14 June 2025; understands that the event, which is scheduled to run from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm, brings together local groups and residents for a day of fun and entertainment; understands that live music on the day will include a steel band, a ukulele group, a talented vocalist and a traditional Scottish piper; further understands that games and activities for all ages, including a fire engine experience, are planned; notes that, although hosted by Friends of Bridge of Allan, the event is also supported by many local groups, including local Scouts and Guides, St Saviour’s Church, Bridge of Allan Parish Church, Fairview School, Bridge of Allan Primary School, Strathcarron Hospice, Active Stirling, Discover Bridge of Allan, the Dr Welsh Trust, and many more; commends the Friends of Bridge of Allan for hosting and helping to arrange this event along with all the groups involved, and wishes everyone a highly successful and entertaining day.
