That the Parliament welcomes the return of the Tillicoultry Gala on 15 June 2025; understands that the event, which is held at Tillicoultry Public Park, attracts a great many stallholders and exhibitors annually; notes that the parade commences from the town’s Murray Square at 12.45 pm and will be led by the Alloa Bowmar Pipe Band; believes that attendees are being encouraged to wear fancy dress costumes, as there will be a presentation for the best outfit; understands that children’s games are set to include tug of war, javelin, and a sack race; believes that a dog display is available to watch throughout the day; commends the organisers and all volunteers working on this excellent community event, and wishes everyone involved all the best for a highly successful event.
