That the Parliament congratulates Shalom Care Home, in Dreghorn, on receiving "very good" ratings across all five key inspection categories following an unannounced visit by the Care Inspectorate in April and May 2025; understands that the categories assessed were supporting wellbeing, leadership, staff team, setting, and care and support; acknowledges the inspectors' praise for the compassionate and individualised care provided by a consistent and dedicated staff team; notes the home’s focus on involving residents and families in decision making, the provision of high-quality facilities and the range of activities available to residents, and commends Shalom Care Home on its ongoing commitment to providing excellent and dignified residential care.
