Erin Magee Represents East Dunbartonshire Schools at VoiceBox 2025 Final

That the Parliament congratulates Erin Magee, of Kirkintilloch, on becoming a finalist in the VoiceBox 2025 competition; celebrates the talent of eight-year-old Erin, whose winning entry at Holy Trinity Primary School was selected to represent all primary schools in the East Dunbartonshire Council area at the Scotland-wide final; acknowledges gratefully the support of Erin’s proud family, including her mum, Fiona, and sister, Megan, who are Erin’s greatest cheerleaders; is delighted that Erin was also given a spot on Heart Radio to share her winning entry; applauds what it sees as the innovative approach of this national joke competition run by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists to highlight the importance and joy of communication in supporting effective learning and promoting positive emotional and physical wellbeing; acknowledges the powerful impact of children and young people, whose cheerful outlook, joy and lightness of spirit can thrive through such competitions; thanks the Presiding Officer for hosting the competition final at the Scottish Parliament, and sends its very best wishes to Erin and all other participants for their continued enjoyment of uplifting communication.
