Celebrating Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games 15th Anniversary

That the Parliament commends the organisers of the 15th annual Helensburgh and Lomond Highland Games, which takes place at the Helensburgh Cricket and Rugby Football Club on 7 June 2025; notes that the event will feature a variety of highland games during the annual celebration of traditional Scottish culture, competitions such as the sheaf toss, hammer throw, the world-famous caber toss, athletics, the hill race, youth and athletic events, and traditional highland dancing such as the highland fling and the reel; extends its gratitude to the incredible team of volunteers whose unwavering support and dedication make this event possible, creating a memorable and positive experience for all involved; understands that the games attract visitors from all over the UK and around the world; appreciates what it sees as the steadfast support of local businesses and sponsors whose generous contributions and partnerships are vital to the success of the event, and wishes the games every success this year.
