That the Parliament recognises that Abbotsford Care in East Wemyss was recently awarded the highest grade of excellent by the Care Inspectorate in its most recent unannounced inspection; understands that Abbotsford Care received a grade of six, "excellent", for how well it supports people’s wellbeing, which is the highest possible rating awarded by the national regulator for care services in Scotland; further understands that staff across all roles consistently deliver care with warmth, respect, and meaningful engagement, and received recognition for long-term relationships with residents, fostering trust and allowing for tailored, effective support, with care plans shaped in consultation with residents and their families, and recognises the home’s approach in providing meaningful and enjoyable daily activities and its inclusive culture, where activities are driven by resident choice and involvement, beyond routines.
