  • Submitted by: Annabelle Ewing, Cowdenbeath, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 03 June 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-17789

That the Parliament congratulates the 4th Fife, Cardenden, Scout Group on the opening of its new Scout Hall; understands that this new hall represents the culmination of six years of fundraising, planning and a nomadic existence since a fire in 2019 destroyed its previous hall; notes that the new facility is near to St Ninians Primary School and will be available for use by the school and the wider community as well as the Scout Group; acknowledges the assistance given by the Bowhill Centre and Auchterderran Church in providing a home for the Scouts over the last six years, and further acknowledges the work done by the architects and builders who have brought the project into being.
