Recognising the National Lottery Heritage Fund's £1 Billion Investment in Scotland's Heritage

  • Submitted by: Jackie Baillie, Dumbarton, Scottish Labour.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 03 June 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-17783

That the Parliament recognises that, since 1994, the National Lottery Heritage fund has invested £1 billion into 5,000 heritage projects in Scotland; notes that these projects tell Scotland's stories, protects the landscapes and revitalises historic buildings; understands that during this time, the Heritage Fund has awarded £13,916,350 to 79 projects in the Dumbarton constituency, including Hill House, Hermitage Park, Levengrove Park and the Skylark Recovery Trust, and hopes to see the Heritage Fund continue to invest in communities over the next 30 years.
