  • Submitted by: Maggie Chapman, North East Scotland, Scottish Green Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 02 June 2025
  • Motion reference: S6M-17728

That the Parliament notes the reported action taken by Disabled People Against Cuts (DPAC) North East Scotland, including rallies in protest against proposed service cuts in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen; recognises what it sees as the vital importance of disabled people’s services in Aberdeenshire and support for carers; acknowledges the campaigning work that is taking place to make this clear; recognises what it sees as the widespread view among community members that cuts to services will devastate people’s lives; commends everyone involved in DPAC North East Scotland; expresses solidarity with them, and wishes them all well in their ongoing campaigns.
