That the Parliament notes the campaign that has been launched to secure the future of Aberdeen Arts Centre; understands that the campaign will attempt to raise over half a million pounds to keep the doors open; considers that the arts centre has contributed to the cultural life of Aberdeen for more than six decades; believes that the closure of the centre would negatively affect the 35 groups that use the centre; congratulates those that have launched the campaign, and wishes them well in their efforts.
