That the Parliament notes Leisure and Culture Dundee’s first Book Festival, which will take place from 12 to 14 June 2025; acknowledges the wide range of authors and performers from across Scotland who will be invited to share their work; notes the various events that will be held across the city in a variety of venues, including the Marryat Hall, Central Library and the Mills Observatory; recognises what it sees as the value that culture has in society and its importance for individual and community wellbeing; congratulates everyone involved in the planning and execution of the event, and wishes them all an enjoyable and successful festival.
