Kilwinning Primary Pupil Reaches Final of the Voicebox Competition

That the Parliament congratulates Freya McVie Branley, a P7 pupil at St Winning’s Primary School in Kilwinning, on reaching the national final of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists’ (RCSLT) VoiceBox competition; notes that Freya was crowned the winner of the local heat and will represent North Ayrshire at the final event in the Scottish Parliament on 5 June 2025; recognises that VoiceBox celebrates the importance of communication and highlights the role of speech and language therapy in supporting children’s confidence, creativity and connection; congratulates Freya for already winning over £100 worth of books for her school while still competing for further prizes; commends all pupils, schools and RCSLT staff involved in showcasing the power and value of children's voices through this uplifting initiative, and wishes Freya the best of luck as she takes part in the national final.
