That the Parliament congratulates Andrew Ashe on 48 years of service with Bidfood Wholesalers in Edinburgh; recognises that Andrew began his career on 17 May 1977 as a customer order processer in Bidfood’s predecessor, the United Yeast Company; understands that Andrew met his wife in the early 1990s when she worked in the finance department; further understands that, following changes in ownership, the business was moved from Kirkliston to Newbridge industrial estate, where he currently works as a warehouse operative within the goods-in team; notes that Andrew has become a qualified forklift instructor responsible for the training of new recruits and refresher courses, alongside being a respected first-aider for over 20 years; considers Andrew to be a valued member of staff at Bidfood, and hopes for the continued success of Andrew and the rest of the Bidfood team.
