That the Parliament congratulates Volunteer Edinburgh on its 25th anniversary; notes that, as part of its celebrations to mark the occasion, The Rt Hon Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Robert Aldridge, is hosting a civic reception in the City Chambers on the 15 May 2025; understands that, in celebrating the 25-year milestone at the civic reception, it is bringing together all the people who have helped shape Volunteer Edinburgh, including past employees, volunteers and trustees; acknowledges that Volunteer Edinburgh’s purpose and mission is to build strong social connections, reduce inequalities and support vibrant communities through volunteers and volunteering activities, and wishes the organisation all the very best for the future.
