Scottish Veterans Awards 2025

That the Parliament wishes all the very best to the shortlisted finalists for the Scottish Veterans Awards 2025, to be held at Prestonfield House, Edinburgh, on 30 April 2025; understands that the event, which is hosted by Radio DJ BFBS Scotland presenter, Mark McKenzie, and is in support of the Army Benevolent Fund Charity Scotland and The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, features many veterans’ charities in myriad categories sponsored across the UK by Thales Group, with lead sponsorship by DXC Technology, and will highlight outstanding achievements by all those who have been selected; believes that charities such as Who Dares Cares, ASA Scotland SCIO, Veterans Tribe Scotland CIC, The Veterans Garden, The Blue Light Armed Forces Networks Committee and Edinburgh Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club have been nominated in the Veterans Group of the Year category, whilst Employer of the Year, which is sponsored by Joint Force Alba, sees nominees from Scottish Veterans Residences, Mott MacDonald, Inverroy Crisis Management Limited, GE Aerospace and NHS National Services Scotland; understands that  there are 13 categories in total; commends all the nominees for their sterling achievements, and wishes every charity, business and person shortlisted the very best of luck in the competition and in all their future endeavours.
