Edinburgh Restaurants Reach Finals of the Curry Oscars

That the Parliament congratulates two Edinburgh restaurants on reaching the finals of the Asian Curry Awards; understands that the awards are dubbed the curry Oscars and recognise and reward excellence in food and service across the whole of the Asian catering sector in the UK; commends Ignite and Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food on making the finals; notes that finalists were chosen from a shortlist of over 200 restaurants and takeaways voted for by the public; understands that the winners will be named at a gala dinner in London on 17 November 2024, with awards for best restaurant, best takeaway and best fine dining; congratulates Ignite and Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food on reaching the finals, and hopes for the continued recognition of Scotland’s Asian catering sector.
