  • Motion reference: S6M-13223

That the Parliament marks the UN established International Day of Living Together in Peace on 16 May 2024, which, it understands, is aimed at promoting peace, tolerance, inclusion, understanding and solidarity alongside upholding the desire to live and act together, united in differences and diversity, in order to build a sustainable world of peace, solidarity and harmony; believes that in a world suffering from division, disharmony and devastating humanitarian crises, this day serves as a timely reminder of the need for forgiveness and compassion among individuals and nations alike in order to achieve the aim that everyone holds dear, namely that of living together as one in peace and harmony, and hopes that by expressing support for this aim, the shared message will encourage others to act with this understanding to achieve real lasting peace and harmony.
