Professor Yvonne Perrie Awarded MBE in New Year Honours List

That the Parliament congratulates Professor Yvonne Perrie, from Dunbartonshire, on being appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in His Majesty the King’s New Year Honours List 2024; recognises that this accolade was awarded for services to pharmaceutical innovation and regulation; notes that Professor Perrie is Professor of Drug Delivery and Head of the Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Strathclyde; acknowledges that Professor Perrie gained her PhD from the University of London in 1998; further acknowledges that Professor Perrie’s work has been recognised through various different fellowships and awards, including the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Harrison Memorial Medal in 2019 and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Pharmaceutical Scientist of the Year in 2012, and wishes Yvonne all the best for the year ahead.
