Welcoming National Lottery Young Start Funding to Kinross-shire Youth Enterprise (KYTHE)

That the Parliament welcomes the award of £90,000 from the National Lottery Young Start Fund to Kinross-shire Youth Enterprise (KYTHE) to support youth activities; understands that the funding will go towards supporting a three-year programme of drop-in workshops and activities for young people aged between 11 and 19; further understands that the money will also go towards support sessions on life skills, a job club, cooking skills, and art and woodwork lessons; believes that the award is a recognition of the successful work the of the charity and the importance of supporting young people; is grateful to the staff and volunteers, who work hard to deliver the service, and extends its very best wishes to the charity for the success of the programme and for the future.
