Highlands and Islands Success at Royal National Mòd 2023

That the Parliament congratulates all those who took part in the Royal National Mòd, which was held between 13 and 21 October 2023, in Paisley; congratulates the competitors from throughout the Highlands and Islands who won medals in their categories in the 2023 competition; appreciates the dedication and many hours of practice carried out by those who took part in the event; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of the festival in celebrating and promoting Gaelic language and culture; recognises the hard work of all those involved in organising and running the annual event, and wishes organisers and competitors well for the 2024 event, which will be held in Oban.
