That the Parliament congratulates eight students at Fife College in Dunfermline on being awarded a Principal’s Degree Scholarship and a share of £6,000; notes that Justine McIvor from Kirkcaldy, who is studying childhood studies, is one of the students who received an award; understands that the students were awarded the scholarships by principal, Jim Metcalfe, who presented them with their certificates at a special event held at the College’s Dunfermline campus; further understands that the scholarship recognises the hard work and dedication that the students undertake in pursuit of their further studies; believes that the annual scholarship was created to support students as they move on to degree studies either with Fife College, university or elsewhere; understands that the funds will support students with a range of things, including travel, books, software, tech and fees, and extends its very best wishes to the students for continued success in their studies and for the future.
