That the Parliament recognises the life and work of Harry Frew, former UCATT Scottish Secretary and Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) President, who died in August 2023; further recognises his lifelong work as one of Scotland’s leading trade unionists over many years, and his work as a painter and decorator; sends its condolences to his family at this time; recognises his work to increase pay and conditions for all workers at home and abroad, and against inequality and injustice; further recognises the esteem in which he was held by his many friends and colleagues, and offers condolences to all who knew him at this time.
