That the Parliament congratulates golfers from Kirkcaldy and Ingolstadt after they competed for an anniversary quaich to mark the 60th anniversary of the twinning links between the two towns; understands that the events took place at Dunnikier and Kirkcaldy Golf Clubs, with the local teams joined by Golf Club Ingolstadt; notes that the trophy went to Dunnikier Park Golf Club, with Richard Melville from the winning team being the overall top point scorer over the weekend; recognises that the event rounded off a year of celebrations to mark Kirkcaldy’s links with the German town, and that, while there was a competitive edge to the weekend, the focus was on fun, friendship and fellowship; commends the golfers and clubs for their long links to one another, and wishes them all the very best for the future.
