That the Parliament congratulates Our Lady’s RC Primary School in Perth on winning the Spring Clean Scotland trophy, having won Keep Scotland Beautiful’s Litter League for the Tay, Central and Fife category; understands that the award aims to get children more involved in the litter issue across Scotland, and that 43 pupils collected 32 bags of litter in Seven Acres Park, alongside Perth and Kinross Countryside Trust; notes that, across Scotland, there were 86 clean-ups across 22 different local authority areas involving 2,260 participants, all of whom received a Litter League certificate to acknowledge and thank them for all their efforts, and commends Keep Scotland Beautiful for its campaign, which is focussed on addressing what it sees as the litter emergency in Scotland, and the pupils of Our Lady’s RC Primary School for their efforts.
