That the Parliament congratulates Alessia Palmieri of Fossoway Tennis Club on receiving the Tennis Scotland Award for Development Coach of the Year; understands that she was selected due to her commitment to developing tennis for children of all ages, and that she now qualifies for the finals of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) National Awards, held at the National Tennis Centre on 4 July 2023; notes that the Tennis Scotland Awards celebrate the formidable achievements and contributions of clubs, programmes and competitions, as well as the inspirational individuals involved in tennis who dedicate their precious time and energy to the continual development and growth of the sport; celebrates Alessia’s award, and wishes her every success at the LTA National Awards and in the future.
