That the Parliament commends the hard work of volunteers working on behalf of the charity, Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), in the planting of 1,200 native trees and shrubs in support of Robin House; understands that the trees and shrubs were planted at Ardoch, Loch Lomond; further understands that the goal of this project was to boost carbon capture in anticipation of a habitat for native wildlife; notes the location of Ardoch Estate, in the idyllic national park between Loch Lomond and Gartocharn; thanks Peter Armitage, a philanthropist financier, for his generosity in gifting the property and land at Ardoch to CHAS at the beginning of 2020, and notes that the venue is available for hire with all revenue raised going to support CHAS.
