That the Parliament celebrates the news that Rowallan Castle Estate, of Kilmaurs, has won the Best Wedding Package award and the Best Wedding Team award at the 2023 Scottish Confetti Wedding Awards; understands that the awards are open to any business that registers, and that a public vote selects the finalists, that are then judged by a panel of industry specialists; notes that Rowallan Castle Estate has also been named Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year 2022 in the Food Awards Scotland; further notes that the estate is home of the Colin Montgomerie-designed championship golf course and two exclusive-use castles, which make the estate an attractive venue for weddings and staycations; notes that the business is led by George and Katy Campbell, who have taken over from their parents, and hope to expand their team, take part in more competitions and continue providing a great service for their customers at Rowallan Castle Estate in the near future; congratulates George, Katy and the Rowallan Castle Estate team on their new awards, and wishes them success as they continue to expand and diversify their business, adding new jobs to the South Scotland region.
