Helensburgh Youth Take Medals in Young Rotary Musician Competition

That the Parliament congratulates the winners of the Rotary Club’s young musician competitions local contest; understands that the winners, Ellie Wilson, playing the French horn, and Cara Pryce, a vocalist, will now go forward to the regional final of Rotary International Britain and Ireland Young Musician Competition; believes that the event took place at Lomond School, and was attended by Helensburgh and Helensburgh Garelochside Rotary Clubs, and that Lomond School and Hermitage Academy each entered two vocalists and two instrumentalists; appreciates what it sees as the dedication and skill shown by all entrants, with medals and participation certificates presented by Gordon Greig, president of Helensburgh Garelochside Rotary Club, and wishes the winners every success in the next stages of the competition.
