Inverness Business Leader Named Start-up Entrepreneur of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Inverness-based Iain Macphail who is the founder of IDM Safety Solutions on being recognised as Start-up Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2022 grand final, which took place in London on 21 November; notes that the business offers multi-disciplined health and safety services throughout the north of Scotland with a mission to protect businesses and ensure the safety, health and welfare of its employees; understands that, since it was founded in 2020, IDM Safety Solutions has created 10 new opportunities for people in the Highlands and Islands with aspirations to grow further; considers that the triumph in front of 1,400 entrepreneurs is an enormous achievement for a young business, and wishes Mr Macphail and his dedicated team continued success for the future.
