National Lottery Funding for Six South Angus Community Groups

That the Parliament congratulates the six South Angus community groups which have recently been successful in securing National Lottery funding; welcomes the £129,746 awarded to Angus Independent Advocacy for its Citizen Advocacy project, the £140,000 for Kirrie Connections dementia friendly meeting centre, the £95,509 received by Mum and Me, to bring mothers together in mutual support, the £10,000 grants going to the Furniture Recycling Project Angus and the Learning Tree Partnership to maintain and expand their staff respectively, and the £5,220 enabling Monifieth Medieval Fair's holding of a Jubilee party for local residents in the town square; considers that all these projects are of real benefit to communities across South Angus, and commends all involved.
