Logan Morrison to Take on Cycling Challenge for Cancer Services

  • Submitted by: David Torrance, Kirkcaldy, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 10 November 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-06668

That the Parliament commends Logan Morrison, from Kirkcaldy, who will be partaking in a 62-mile cycling challenge from Bishopbriggs to Starks Park in Kirkcaldy as he looks to raise money for cancer services in Kirkcaldy; understands that Logan will be conducting his cycling challenge on 12 November 2022 in aid of ward 34 at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, and the Maggies Centre, also based at the Victoria Hospital; notes that Logan has raised money in previous years for various Kirkcaldy-based organisations, first netting £600 to buy gifts for residents at Ostlers care home, and subsequently raising £3,500 for the Linton Lane centre and Kirkcaldy Foodbank by cycling from Edinburgh Castle to the Linton Lane Centre in Kirkcaldy, and wishes Logan all the best for his cycle challenge and any other charity work he will be conducting in the future.
