That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow's top coffee shops that are in the running to become the "best in Scotland" in this year’s Scottish Café Awards; notes that the awards celebrate the very best that the Scottish coffee industry has to offer, from top baristas, coffee specialists and representatives of local cafes; further notes that public votes are based on the experience of having a good coffee daily; believes that the Scottish Café Awards 2022 is dedicated to the country’s café industry, which it understands employs hundreds of people, and enhances the prosperity of not only Glasgow, but communities across Scotland; notes that Glasgow's West End favourite, Papercup, is in the running for the prestigious Café of the Year prize, alongside the brilliant Billington's, while Black Pine Coffee, Canary Girl and Riverhill all compete for the Best Coffee Shop; understands that the awards ceremony is taking place at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow, on 27 June 2022, and wishes all those that are nominated the best of luck.
