Mhairi McCann Wins Environmental Award at Young Scot Awards

That the Parliament congratulates Mhairi McCann, from Inverclyde, on winning the Environmental Award at The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards, on 27 April 2022, for, it understands, conducting beach cleans in the area, and her work with Youth STEM 2030, which Mhairi helped found, to empower young people to use science, technology, engineering and maths in order to make a positive change in the world; believes that this award is testament to the time and effort that Mhairi dedicates to the climate crisis, and her commitment to empowering young people to lead the conversation and develop technological advancements to help deliver positive change, and wishes her all the best as she continues with her award-winning climate work.
