That the Parliament congratulates Mostly Ghostly Tours, based in Dumfries and Galloway, on winning Outstanding Tourism Business of the Year at the 2022 Dumfries and Galloway Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, which, it understands was held at Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries, on 1 April 2022; understands that Mostly Ghostly are creators of a range of well-researched ghost and local history tours encompassing everything from Scotland’s most haunted road, the A75, to an intriguing Dumfriesshire vampire legend dating back to the 12th century; further understands that Mostly Ghostly Tours have successfully launched their new season of historically informed Dark Tales of Old Moffat, beginning with a throwback to their original 2017 true tale, which was told by founder member, Kathleen Cronie, about a servant girl who wreaks revenge on her mistress’s daughter with deadly consequences; thanks Mostly Ghostly Tours for all that it does to promote the region’s supernatural and historical ties, which, it understands, attracts visitors to the region, and wishes the team every success for the future.
