Deputy Presiding Officer
The next item of business is the election of an additional Deputy Presiding Officer for the duration of the public response to the novel coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic. The election will use the electronic voting system, but it will be a secret ballot, so only the overall result, not how individual members voted, will be published.
I can inform members that I have received one valid nomination, which is Lewis Macdonald. I now declare the election of the Deputy Presiding Officer open. The question is, that Lewis Macdonald be elected as a Deputy Presiding Officer.
