The next item of business is consideration of motion S2M-2330, in the name of Cathy Jamieson, on the International Organisations Bill, which is United Kingdom legislation.
Motion moved,
That the Parliament recognises the need for the United Kingdom to implement the international obligations for which the International Organisations Bill makes provision, and agrees that those provisions in the Bill that fall within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament and have the effect of conferring functions on the Scottish ministers should be considered by the UK Parliament.—[Hugh Henry.]
I thank you, Presiding Officer, for indulging me and allowing me a few seconds to speak.
I thank Stewart Stevenson for his constructive approach to the Sewel motion. It is obvious that he is having a positive influence on the SNP. I would be grateful if he would stay as the member for Banff and Buchan and not return the other person, who is perhaps a bit less constructive.
