Welcome to the third meeting in 2013 of the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee. Members and the public should turn off their mobile phones and so on, as they will affect the broadcasting system even if they are left in flight mode or on silent.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on taking business in private. Does the committee agree to take in private agenda item 3, which is the committee’s response to the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee’s inquiries into post-legislative scrutiny and Scottish Law Commission bills?

Members indicated agreement.
