• In relation to the above instrument, the Committee noted that the original draft of this instrument was withdrawn, and the present version re-laid, following questions raised by the Committee with the Scottish Government.

Winter Heating Assistance (Pension Age) (Scotland) Regulations 2024 (SSI 2024/Draft)

• In relation to the above instrument, the Committee noted that it gives effect to a decision of the Scottish Ministers which is the subject of judicial review proceedings. The petitioners are understood to be asking the court, among other things, to reduce the decision on the basis that it is unlawful by reason of procedural unfairness due to a lack of consultation.
