It certainly seems from what the report found—many of us knew this already—that people who have been incarcerated and so were, in a sense, out of sight and out of mind, were not being met at the gate.I commend you for including the question of a national service in the consultation.

The consultation did not specifically ask whether the UK should signup to the Council of Europe Convention Against Trafficking in Human Beings but itsought views on a number of issues, including reflection periods and residence permits.The UK Government is actively considering whether to sign the Convention.
