It just seems that £75,000 seems a bit light— From my perspective as a member of the Audit Committee, rather than the SCPA, I know that a charge is levied across health boards. One year a board might have more hours of audit than an adjoining board—there are swings and roundabouts.

Fine.We need to review not just the local government funding formula and allocations to individual councils, but the way in which the money is levied on the people. The method has to be fair and it has to be seen to be fair.
