The parts of the bill that extend to devolved areas relate to the abolition of the Police Negotiating Board, to dangerous dogs and to witness protection law.We have agreed to the abolition of the PNB and intend to establish a separate police negotiating board for Scotland through the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Bill, which was introduced prior to the summer recess. The PNB provides a forum in which representatives of police officers and those who manage and fund police forces can consider questions relating to police hours of duty, leave, pay and allowances, pensions and clothing and equipment.
