The aim is to present this to the Scottish Parliament after the October 2024 recess. The UK is a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and under the SPS agreement is required to notify the WTO of changes to its biosecurity measures at least 60 days in advance (to enable the notification to be circulated to WTO members to comment).
