I accept Jamie McGrigor's general point that such efforts will not necessarily be comparable, but it is entirely reasonable to try to provide an alternative fishing opportunity and to take the steps to secure access both to alternative quota in the nephrops fishery and to days at sea that would allow that quota to be prosecuted.
