With the lack of jobs and lack of social activities in towns (e.g. ruined football pitches, closed sport or entertainment facilities etc), the only thing in my opinion which is available to young people now is chatting to each other on the internet, such as Facebook, or playing their games consoles all day.

I am not proposing a total ban on alcohol advertising in sporting places; I am proposing that, for example, if the under-18 rugby players are playing a match at Murrayfield—which they will do—the screen advertising around the pitch should not be advertising alcohol.
