The one thing that they can all make use of is the research services that the parliamentary library provides. They can make requests for research to be done by the library, and they do so from time to time.
During the pandemic, lots of people were cut off from the safety net of libraries and from being able to go in to use those devices and internet connections.

I recognise everything that Alex Cole-Hamilton outlined. We invested in our rapid action drug alert system because we needed to know what was happening in real terms on the ground.
Macmillan’s partnership with North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire is delivered in our libraries. I am happy to say that Wishaw and Motherwell libraries in my constituency are supporting the big coffee morning.
As part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chief Scientist Office (CSO) launched the Rapid Research in COVID-19 programme on March 25th 2020.

This includes £24 million over 3 years for Rapid Rehousing for local authorities, £2 million to help them develop Transition Plans and £6.5 million for Housing First pathfinders work.
