She is a feisty woman who is not to be trifled with.We got here because of people; because 20,000 petitioners came to the Parliament in 1999 and because the Public Petitions Committee went to Galashiels and had 250 people at the meeting make the case to include them in rail links throughout Scotland.

If the matter were serious, I would need to suspend the meeting, which I am reluctant to do given the fairly comfortable margin in those votes.If Mr Aitken has doubts about whether the vote of a member of his party has registered, he should remember that a console can be used twice.
